'I knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was 8 years old'

I began my career in a farm practice in rural Michigan and then moved to the busiest small animal practice in north Chicago. I relocated to California and was fortunate to join the staff of a specialty practice, awarded the honor of 'Practice of The Year' in the United States. I was then recruited to open and manage the first emergency and critical care facility in Berkeley where I treated over 20,000 patients.

Jenny comes to us from Bayshore Animal Hospital in Bradenton. There, she was the Kennel Manager and a Veterinary Assistant working with domestic and exotic pets and wildlife. Prior to that, she was the Bird of Prey and Wildlife Curator at Sarasota Jungle Garden for seven years presenting shows to the public on wildlife conservation.

“Get a dog and learn not to take life to seriously.”Lori Reinhardt is the office manager at the Veterinary Center of Sarasota. She has been working with her husband, Dr. Reinhardt, for 26 years. Many of our long term clients know how caring and compassionate she is with all animals. She often jokes that she is the crazy cat lady and extremely personable with all of our clients and patients. She and the doctor have a handful of cats and dogs; giving all of them a loving home.
